How can i tell what the size the engine in my truck is? - ih v8 gas engine
I bought a IH 74 'Scout II 266 engine was originally a V6, but the guy I bought a new engine put in it and nopt sure that this is a V8-304 or 345 V8. How do I know?

There must be a nameplate on the engine some. Or you could try that to see two types of engines and trying to one that looks like the find yours.
